Chernihiv IT Cluster is a member of the consortium of the international project under the Erasmus + program “Higher Education Capacity Building”, direction KA2: Cooperation Projects.

Project description:
The project is aimed at strengthening the capacity of Ukrainian and Georgian universities to provide comprehensive and effective professional training for students to reduce the mismatch between educational outcomes and labor market requirements by developing and implementing an innovative mentoring/teaching system in universities based on the joint experience of the consortium partners.

Project ideas:

Inspire young professionals to make great career achievements;
Strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions to meet the requirements of the labor market and society as a whole.

During the Olympiad, students of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” demonstrated their technical skills and creativity in solving cybersecurity-related problems. Special emphasis was placed on data security and threat awareness.

The participants of the Cybersecurity challenge additionally studied various types of vulnerabilities, such as software bugs, weak passwords, insufficiently reliable authentication methods, and careless use of third-party components, and practiced methods to prevent them.

Chernihiv IT Cluster within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project 101082696-PROMENT “Promoting professional education and active participation of students through the establishment of a comprehensive system of mentoring and tutoring in higher education institutions” conducted a comprehensive program in a mixed format on digital skills development for students of the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic”, including IT specialties, as well as other fields with the opportunity to receive mentoring support and a certificate of completion.

Demo day “Tutoring and mentoring: stories of impact, synergy and success”: pitching based on the results of the 1st pilot within the Erasmus+ PROMENT project

On December 17, 2024, the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” hosted the Demo Day “Tutoring and Mentoring: Stories of Impact, Synergy and Success” with the participation of the Chernihiv IT Cluster and the University Information Center of the EU.

The event was a milestone in the implementation of the Erasmus+ PROMENT project “Promoting Vocational Education and Active Participation of Students through the Establishment of a Comprehensive Mentoring and Tutoring System in Higher Education Institutions”. The event featured a demonstration of the results of piloting tutoring and mentoring programs, exchange of experience between participants, promotion of project initiatives, and emphasizing the importance of mentoring and tutoring in developing the skills of young leaders. The event was held in a mixed format. More than 50 participants joined the event.
